Transport
The Transport Committee deals with all transport and transport related issues, including railways, urban, water and air transport as well as social and environmental matters.
As far as European transport policy is concerned, it is particularly focused on the provision of public services. Representing the whole variety of European players in the field of transport - trans-national companies, local enterprises, associations and authorities – the Committee is always close to the developments of European transport. This diversity allows the Committee to gather different points of view from the Member States, to discuss them and to find real European solutions which could eventually be used as an example at Community level. It is also a source of information both for CEEP members and for the European Institutions, which usually appreciate the well-founded and balanced opinions provided by the Committee.
