Dissemination of corporate ethics and responsibility through networks of public enterprises
The project DISCERNO on CSR coordinated by CEEP and co-financed by the European Commission,
started in December 2005 to 7 December 2006. The final workshop for this project was held in the European Parliament and the footage of the final workshop can be viewed HERE.
Aim of the project
The overall objective of this project is to promote Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), including socially and environmentally responsible investments, production and consumption in European Public SMEs. By supporting these companies in addition taking into account CSR principles into their daily management choices, on top of developing expertise as well as the exchange of information on sustainable economy on public services.
The specific objective of the project is to provide knowledge and improve practice to those targeted Public SMEs on CSR principles and its potential effects through the delivery of specific training sessions to the management.
The project provides for a wide transnational dimension at a European level. Indeed, it involves organisations at:
1. European level (CEEP Europe),
2. Local level:
· Italy (CEEP Italy, Confservizi),
· France (CEEP France, Federation des SEM)
· Poland (PEPA – Polish School of Public Administration)
